SELF-HOSTED DOWNLOAD MANAGEMENT
Stewarrd brings qBittorrent, RDT-Client, SABnzbd and RQBit together with Sonarr and Radarr. See what each download is doing, find out why one is stuck, and fix common failures after reviewing what Stewarrd would do.
Torrent status, transfer speed and native controls.
Provider and local download progress, shown separately.
Status, file inventory and native controls.
Queue and history, with SABnzbd's own job states.
ONE QUEUE
Connect as many instances of each client as you run. Search, filter and sort all of their downloads together, and protect a download so automation leaves it alone.
Stewarrd follows Sonarr and Radarr queues and health checks, so failed downloads and blocked imports show up with the client and Arr they belong to.
Recovery, import and cleanup policies start in preview and record what they would do. Turn a policy on once its journal shows what you expect.
Failed RDT-Client releases and, if you opt in, stalled downloads are blocklisted in Arr, removed while keeping their files, and replaced within daily limits. Imports blocked only by an ID match can be copy-imported.
Each problem goes to a JSON webhook, naming the download, client and Arr, with a second event when it clears. What each notification means →
SELF-HOSTED
Stewarrd runs as a single Docker container with a data volume. It needs no Docker socket or elevated privileges, and automation reads only the download and database folders you mount read-only.
Installation guide →git clone https://github.com/jamtur01/stewarrd.git
cd stewarrd
cp .env.example .env # add your client credentials
docker compose up -d --build
# Show the login token
docker compose exec stewarrd cat /data/access-token
START WITH VISIBILITY
Stewarrd does not choose media or transfer files; your clients and Arr still do that. The automation guide explains what each policy changes and when it stops for review.
